Product Summary

The Sanus 'VisionMount' VMPL50B is a sturdy tilting wall mount, ideal for large flat-panel TVs. You get a full 12° up or down tilt and several inches of lateral shift (depending on the make and model of TV) to help center the screen on the wall.

It comes with a wide assortment of mounting hardware, including some fierce looking lag bolts. Your wall might collapse in the next earthquake, but rest assured your TV will still be attached to it.

The supplied instructions are a bit cryptic, but anyone with some basic handyman skills should have no problem getting this thing hung. Keep an eye open for the gap between the wall and the back of the TV. With a depth of just 2.5" you might not have enough clearance for the necessary connections (HDMI, power etc.). You can position the TV further away from the wall using a few of the supplied spacers, but this will detract from the sleek profile somewhat.

Depending on the size of your TV adjusting the tilt angle after the TV is in position could prove awkward. Try and set the desired angle beforehand if possible.
